Having called the Isle of Man home for over 20 years, David Le Prevost is an enthusiastic champion of all the Island has to offer.
From the outset, he has positioned isleofman.com as a window onto Island life and the unique opportunities it provides. Now, with a combination of broad appeal and compelling content, it has come to play an active role in nurturing the 'can do' spirit and sense of community which enable residents and businesses to flourish on the Isle of Man. What's more, it can effortless transmit this 'story' around the world.
David was central to the establishment, in 2000, of isleofman.com, when it was owned by a local marketing company. Following a buy-out in 2006, he undertook to develop the website to its full potential, enlisting a balance of technical and creative professionals to create a comprehensive resource for residents, visitors and business interests.
"In common with the Freedom to Flourish strategy, isleofman.com encompasses all aspects of Island life" says David; "this makes it ideally placed to promote the strengths, opportunities and positive developments to be found on the Isle of Man. As a media channel, we have a responsibility to convey that message further afield and, through our news service, this is something we can achieve.

Prior to becoming Managing Director of isleofman.com, David spent 13 years as Finance Director for the Duke Group. Previously, he worked in the Channel Islands, notably in management accounting roles within the newspaper industry. A Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and the Association of Accounting Technicians, David is also a qualified teacher for post-16 Adult Education.
