I joined Manx Radio as its Managing Director in September 2003 following a twenty six year career at the BBC.

Back in 1964, when Manx Radio was launched with its commentary of the TT races, little did the Isle of Man suspect that Manx Radio was destined to become such an important part of Island life and touch the whole community on a daily basis.

The last few years have seen tremendous change at the station with new schedules that clearly demonstrate that Manx Radio is the nation’s public service broadcaster. None of this would have been possible without a supportive board, a dynamic management team and the most dedicated staff imaginable.

Manx Radio doesn’t plan to stop changing as we continually strive to deliver world-class media services for the benefit of the people of the Isle of Man. It is this continuous change that makes working at Manx Radio so challenging... and so much fun.
