The Tell Me Project

The Tell Me Project is a Champions’ initiative that Age Concern delivers together with the Department of Education.

Children from the Island’s primary schools interview an older generation in order to record their memories. It is about talking, breaking down barriers, increasing understanding and changing attitudes. It is an inter-generational project, which puts older people very much ‘centre stage’ and in the spotlight, which made it the perfect project for Age Concern to become involved with.

The ‘Tell Me’ project celebrates the excitement of youth with the wisdom and experience of later years, and in doing so enriches the community of the Isle of Man.
