Penny Creighton MBE is also Chairman of the Council of Voluntary Organisations, which is the unifying body for the voluntary sector in the Isle of Man. The CVO was established in June 2007 to support the work of the individual members of the voluntary, faith and community sectors on the Island by building an environment in which such organisations can flourish and develop, whether they are large national bodies or small groups working at a local level.
